Red Wings: Aces of the Sky drops you into the dogfights of World War I with a fast, arcade-flavored take on aerial combat. It marries the energetic pacing of classic flight games with a modern arcade feel, all wrapped in a stylized, hand-crafted 3D art style that gives the historical setting a distinctive look. The result is an action game built around the thrill of the chase rather than dense simulation.
You can take to the skies solo or bring a friend along in two-player local multiplayer. As you rack up victories, a pilot progression skill tree lets you sharpen your stats and push for higher scores, adding a layer of long-term growth to the arcade action.
The campaign follows the legend of Manfred von Richthofen, the famed Red Baron credited with 80 confirmed victories, tracing his rise and eventual fall. Story Mode splits into two separate campaigns, letting you either fly under the Red Baron's banner as part of his squadron or take up the hunt to bring him down, depending on whether you side with the Triple Alliance or the Triple Entente. On PC, it makes for an accessible entry point into WWI aerial warfare.
