About Ready or Not

Ready or Not drops you into Los Sueños, a city where the LSPD reports a massive surge in violent crime across the greater metro area. Special Weapons and Tactics teams are dispatched to high-risk hostage situations, active bomb threats, barricaded suspects, and other dangerous scenes, while citizens are warned to travel carefully or stay home. It is a tense backdrop for a tactical shooter built around methodical, high-stakes police work.

The city's troubles run deep. Once seen as a place where fortunes could be made, Los Sueños has become a sprawl of cramped high-rise apartments and decaying affordable housing that the criminal underground exploits like a parasite. As Chief Galo Alvarez puts it, lawful action from the LSPD and its SWAT team is the integral force keeping the city's thin social fabric from tearing apart under the strain.

In response to the crime wave, Chief Alvarez brings in David "Judge" Beaumont as Commander of the SWAT team and opens active recruitment for new tactical talent tasked with restoring peace.
