Raji: An Ancient Epic Enhanced Edition unfolds a thousand years after the last great war between demons and gods. Lulled into false security and having forgotten the ways of alchemy, humans now find themselves at the mercy of invading demons who wage a fresh war to avenge their old humiliation. Cities crumble, fortresses lie in ruin, and children are stolen from their homes, and amid this chaos a young girl named Raji is chosen by the gods to stand as the sole defender of humankind.

At its core this is a story of siblings. Raji and her younger brother Golu are torn apart as the demonic hordes attack, and it falls to Raji to rescue him and end the reckless war, a quest that pits her against the full might and cunning of the demon lord Mahabalasura. Drawing inspiration from Hindu folklore and the medieval architecture of Rajasthan, the game brings a striking visual style to the action-adventure genre, rendering its immersive Pahari-art world with hand-painted textures in 3D.
