Holding that line, however, is only the start, because you must also stretch scarce resources, reinforce your defenses, and keep your camp alive as chaos deepens with every passing day.

Inspection is at the heart of this simulation and strategy game. High-tech tools help you spot signs of infection among terrified survivors, uncover contraband and forbidden items, and even find rare collectables. Anyone showing suspicious symptoms can be sent to quarantine for observation or to the lab for further screening, while healthy arrivals are routed to the living block and the clearly infected meet a grimmer fate.

As the survivor population grows, so does your responsibility, and you must supply essentials like power, food, and medicine while piloting armed drones to stop the infected from breaching the compound. Better management unlocks more resources, tools, and weapon upgrades, and even the newly turned can be confined and put to use, giving this indie title a loop built on learning, adapting, and surviving on PC.
