About Quake II

Developed by id Software in 1997, Quake II is a critically acclaimed first-person shooter that broke from its predecessor with an entirely new science fiction narrative and setting. The campaign drops you into a war between mankind and the Strogg, a hostile alien race that attacked Earth. Humanity's counterstrike on the Strogg homeworld has failed, leaving you outnumbered and outgunned among the few survivors. Your task is to fight through fortified military installations and dismantle the enemy's war machine, since only then will humanity's fate be decided.
