About Project Zomboid

Project Zomboid is an open-ended, zombie-overrun sandbox that boils survival down to a single grim question: how will you die? There is no scripted ending and no rescue on the way, only the slow, relentless pressure of staying alive one more day in a world that has already fallen.

Set in the towns of Muldraugh and West Point, this indie survival simulation puts you among the desperate few still standing. You raid abandoned houses for supplies, fortify your shelter against the dead, and stretch out every hour you can. With no help coming, your fate rests entirely on your own resourcefulness, a little luck, and how well you can slip past a horde that never stops hunting.

Blending RPG progression with deep simulation, the game rewards careful planning and punishes carelessness in equal measure. Death is not a matter of if but when, and the real story lies in how long your survivor manages to hold out against the inevitable on PC.
