About Primal Carnage Extinction

Primal Carnage Extinction poster

Primal Carnage Extinction pits dinosaurs against an elite mercenary team after the prehistoric predators, resurrected on a remote island chain, escape to wreak chaos. This action game lets you take control of twelve deadly dinosaur classes, from sneaky Spitters to towering Tyrants, each ruthless, hungry, and armed with unique traits and attacks, plus a Roar Ability that grants a tactical advantage. On the other side, the mercenaries wield an arsenal of devastating weaponry and gadgets across five distinct human classes, each with special utilities, all in a bid to send the beasts back to the Cretaceous.

A range of mission types keeps the conflict varied. You can fight your way up the food chain in all-out prehistoric warfare, work together to reach rescue or ensure the humans never leave the island, or face a never-ending onslaught of AI dinosaurs in co-op. Stealth plays a role too, whether you stalk humans as an invisible raptor or band together to bring one down, and there are even objectives built around stealing eggs from nests or protecting unhatched young. Cosmetics run deep, with model mutations, weapon bling, and taunts unlocked as free drops, bought or sold on the Steam Marketplace, or earned through Extinction Points, and the Steam Workshop invites players to submit new items. As an indie action title on PC, it thrives on prehistoric mayhem.
