PlateUp! serves up a delightful roguelite by mixing chaotic kitchen and restaurant management with strategic planning and long-term development. Up to four players build and run an eatery entirely from scratch, choosing dishes, purchasing and arranging appliances, and cooking food to serve waiting customers. Some appliances can even be daisy-chained together to construct ambitious automatic kitchens, adding a satisfying layer of optimization to the frantic cooking action.

The menu spans a wide selection of mains, sides, sauces, toppings, desserts, and starters, ranging from bubbling soups and sublime salads to tender steaks and hearty pies. Front-of-house duties matter just as much, since you'll be seating customers, delivering orders, and managing patience while equipping your restaurant to handle even the most fickle diners. Between shifts, you're given free rein to redesign your space, with additional content and challenges unlocked as you progress. The central goal is to cook, serve, and manage your way through fifteen hectic days and earn a brand-new franchise, either by cooperating like a well-oiled machine or by making a name for yourself alone. It's an inventive strategy and action title for PC that keeps every service on the edge of glorious chaos.
