About Planetbase

Planetbase is a strategy game that casts you as the architect and manager of a fledgling colony on a distant, unforgiving planet. Guiding a group of space settlers, you decide where to place the structures they need to endure, then work to keep a steady supply of oxygen, food, and water flowing so your people can stay alive. Every layout choice carries weight in an environment where a single misstep can leave you one step away from total failure.

Building a self-sufficient outpost means orchestrating a chain of interlocking tasks: collecting energy, extracting water, mining metal, growing food, and manufacturing bots to support the settlement as it grows. Although it isn't meant to be a strict simulator, the game grounds its mechanics in plausibility, drawing on the kinds of challenges you might realistically expect when founding a colony on a new world.
