About PIONER

PIONER poster

PIONER is an open-world MMO first-person shooter set in a haunting, alternative-reality world where Soviet-era structures lie abandoned on a desolate, post-apocalyptic island. The environment is deeply immersive, favoring realism over traditional health bars or character levels, and it sprawls across a map of more than 50 square kilometers, not counting the hidden dungeons tucked within. Story quests and faction missions ripple through this world, shaping your relationships and the loyalty rewards you earn.

As an MMO, PIONER puts player-driven storytelling and social interaction front and center, weaving together both PvE and PvP experiences. You can pursue story-driven quests or take on faction missions, and building loyalty with different groups unlocks rewards and additional narrative content. Combat against other players runs intense, with special areas set aside for these confrontations inside the so-called Shadowlands, keeping the tension high wherever you roam.

The game's focus stays on immersion, encouraging you to explore, strategize and survive in a place where your choices genuinely matter. Its grim open world draws on an alternate reality inspired by the Soviet era, filled with atmospheric landscapes, distinctive architecture and captivating, sci-fi-influenced lore. As an action-driven FPS RPG on PC, PIONER promises a continually evolving world with more secrets and details still to be revealed.
