About Phantom Brigade

Phantom Brigade is a hybrid real-time and turn-based tactical RPG that leans heavily into in-depth customization and player-driven stories. You command the last surviving squad of mech pilots, and as the Phantom Brigade you must capture enemy equipment and facilities to level a playing field where you are badly outnumbered and out-gunned. Leading this desperate campaign to retake a war-torn homeland forms the backbone of the experience.

Combat gives the turn-based genre a cinematic spin. You predict enemy movements, orchestrate precisely timed countermeasures and then hit execute to watch the physics-based action unfold in real time. An exquisite arsenal of railguns, beam weapons, missiles, energy swords and more lets you rain destruction on the invaders, much of it salvaged from the very mechs you defeat. On the world map you make high-level tactical decisions, manage a mobile base and decide how to spend limited resources, then take command of your squad in varied missions ranging from sabotage and convoy ambushes to liberation battles and grueling outpost onslaughts.

Customization runs deep enough to shape both performance and style. A rich system lets you fine-tune your mechs, install a wide selection of equipment and access a wealth of cosmetic options to prepare your squad for any challenge. As an indie strategy RPG on PC, it has also been designed from the ground up to be highly moddable, extending its player-driven spirit well beyond the campaign.
