About Pathologic 2

Pathologic 2 is a narrative-driven dramatic thriller about fighting a deadly outbreak in a secluded rural town. The town is dying, and as society collapses around you, you face grim choices in situations that often feel like no-win scenarios. This is not a plague you can simply cure, and the game makes clear from the outset that you cannot save everyone.

The outbreak is devouring the town, and with the chief local healer dead, it falls to you to take his place. You must seek out unexpected allies, including the local children, who are hiding something and may require you to play by their rules. Time is the cruelest constraint of all: you have only twelve days, and if you do not manage them carefully they will simply run out, forcing you to weigh how to spend every priceless minute.

As a survival thriller and indie adventure RPG on PC, Pathologic 2 pushes you to manage hunger, thirst, exhaustion and other bodily needs, a battle that only grows harder as the days pass and your own body threatens to betray you. Winning over allies proves essential, since surviving alone is nearly impossible. Above all looms a duel with an enemy you cannot kill, the plague itself, an incorporeal and malevolent force you must somehow defeat as the odds stack ever higher against you.
