Paint the Town Red is a chaotic first-person melee brawler where nearly everything that isn't bolted down becomes a weapon. Its voxel enemies can be punched, kicked, bashed, stabbed and sliced apart in fully dynamic fashion, so no two scraps ever break down quite the same way. As an indie action and fighting title on PC, it leans hard into physical, destructible combat and the mayhem that follows.
The Scenario levels throw you into a string of themed set pieces, from biker bars and disco floors to prisons, a pirate cove and a western saloon, each stocked with its own enemies and improvised armaments. For something deeper, the roguelite campaign Beneath sends you underground to battle terrifying creatures, uncover secrets and take on bosses. You pick from a range of classes with distinct stats and abilities, then upgrade them run by run until you feel unstoppable. There is also an Arena mode for players chasing pure combat.
Much of the game's longevity comes from its community. Using the built-in Level Editor along with custom texture and music tools, players have added thousands of creations to the Steam Workshop, spanning massive brawls, horror adventures and clever puzzle levels. The intuitive editor invites you to build your own scenarios and share them too.
