About Outbound

Outbound is a cozy open-world exploration game set in a utopian near future, where you begin with nothing but an empty camper van and gradually transform it into the home of your dreams. You can play alone or team up with friends, building and exploring entirely at your own pace as you gather materials, craft, and construct new features in and on top of your vehicle using modular parts.

Exploration takes you across a colorful world in an electric camper van powered by the sun, wind, or water, letting you discover iconic landmarks scattered throughout diverse biomes. The building side runs deep: a modular system lets you shape your moving base and personalize it with paint, decorations, and furniture until it becomes your own perfect cozy retreat, while advancing your technology helps you power everything more efficiently.

There's a gentle life-sim rhythm to it all, from tending gardens full of plants and mushrooms to cooking meals that keep you healthy on the road, and even adopting a companion at the Paws & Whiskers Lodge to feed, pet, and train. Up to four players can share a road trip online in co-op, making this indie adventure and simulation title on PC a relaxed, homey journey across a bright and welcoming world.
