Nuclear Option is a combat flight game set on a dynamic, realistic battlefield of the near future, where you use an array of advanced weapons to change the course of battles. You can intercept bombers, duel enemy fighters, fly beneath the radar, or unleash the fury of nuclear weapons on enemy formations, giving each mission a wide range of tactical approaches.
Every aircraft comes with an immersive cockpit featuring a situational-awareness HUD that identifies nearby targets and threats, and planes can be flown with various controllers or with a mouse-controlled virtual joystick that requires no special hardware. The flight model is genuinely detailed, with fully implemented stalls, spins, and g-force effects, and each aircraft is built from up to 50 individually simulated physics parts, so a highly detailed damage model means the condition of each part changes how your aircraft handles.
An included mission editor lets you build your own missions and fly them solo or with friends in PvP or PvE multiplayer combat. The roster spans a varied fleet, from the CI-22 Cricket counter-insurgency aircraft and A-19 Brawler close air support plane to the FS-12 Revoker air superiority fighter, the EW-25 Medusa electronic warfare craft, and the SFB-81 Darkreach strike bomber. As an indie action simulation, this PC flight game rewards players who enjoy realistic aerial combat and mission-building.
