Overview
Lacrimosa is a Chaos DoT main carry. Rather than burst enemies down, she layers stacking damage-over-time effects and detonates them through Scorch, dealing enormous sustained damage that keeps ticking even while she's off-field. She's the payoff of the best DoT team in the game — and yes, she really likes tomatoes.
Strengths
- Premier DoT carry — huge sustained damage that ticks off-field
- Low field-time demands; ideal for a stack-and-swap playstyle
- Anchors the game's strongest DoT / Scorch composition
- Ignores Chaos resistance with her BiS set, effectively a raw multiplier
Weaknesses
- Needs a DoT support shell (Sakiri, Baicang) to reach her ceiling
- Ramp-up time — her damage builds as DoTs stack, not instantly
- Less single-hit burst than a direct DPS against short fights
Best Arc (weapon)
The Last Rose — her signature Arc and the best option in nearly every situation. Main stat: always Chaos DMG.
Best gear (cartridge set)
Diabolos is her best-in-slot cartridge in every scenario. Its Chaos-resistance ignore is invaluable — it functions as a straight damage multiplier against everything. Pair it with a Chaos DMG main stat and stack DoT-supporting substats.
Best team — the DoT / Scorch comp
The idea is simple: cram as many DoT sources into one team as possible to max out Sakiri's amplifier passive.
Lacrimosa — carry
Your main DoT source and the one who cashes in Scorch.
Sakiri — DoT support
Her "Can I Eat This?" passive amps damage +25% per active DoT type (up to +100%), plus a team ATK buff and enemy grouping.
Baicang & Adler — more DoT
Extra damage-over-time layers to push Sakiri's multiplier to the cap.
Every active DoT type feeds Sakiri's amplifier. Four DoT sources ≈ the +100% cap, turning Lacrimosa's ticks into a screen-clearing engine.
