About Northgard: Definitive Edition

Northgard: Definitive Edition follows brave Vikings who, after years of tireless exploration, have discovered a new land of mystery, danger, and riches called Northgard. The boldest Northmen set sail to explore and conquer these shores, bringing fame to their clan and writing history through conquest, trade, or devotion to the Gods, and it falls to you to build your settlement on this newly discovered continent.

You assign your Vikings to various jobs and manage resources carefully to survive harsh winters and ferocious foes, expanding your clan strategically as you chase conquest, fame, lore, or trade victory. Each of the many clans that inhabit the continent has its own specificities, bonuses, and features, introducing new ways to play and fresh routes to victory, so mastering their unique attributes is central to taming Northgard's unforgiving wilderness.

Beyond the core game, Conquest mode is a standalone offering of unique scenarios that can be played solo or co-op, adding over 100 hours of challenges, while multiplayer lets you play with or against friends across various modes and lobbies, including ranked matches where veterans can prove their skill. Blending indie sensibilities with deep simulation and strategy, this PC title rewards careful clan management and long-term planning.
