About Necesse

Necesse poster

Necesse is an indie action-adventure RPG set in an infinite, procedurally generated world packed with secrets to uncover as you grow a settlement and lead expeditions against pirate kings, dragons, and fallen wizards. You decide how to spend your days: crawling through dungeons for treasure and raw materials, or answering the call to adventure by sailing the seas in search of formidable foes. Recruiting settlers with particular skills lets you mine a wide range of ores, craft gear suited to your playstyle, and build a thriving village alongside them.

The game supports singleplayer, co-op, and dedicated servers hosting hundreds of players, and its endless world adapts to whichever mode you choose. Your settlement starts humble, but over time you can lay out orchards, farms, and workshops, then recruit settlers to work the fields, tend animals, and gather resources without constant oversight.

Their expertise helps you prepare for the next journey while steadily expanding what your community can do. You can hire guards and build traps to hold off the many dangers roaming the land, and trade with neighboring settlements to sell your wares and acquire equipment far sooner than you otherwise could. On PC, the loop of building, questing, and conquering keeps giving you reasons to push deeper into the world.
