In Naheulbeuk's Dungeon Master you play Reivax, the servile (or perhaps not so servile) steward of the Dungeon of Naheulbeuk. Set years before the first fearless adventurers come knocking, the game tasks you with building, developing, and populating the wobbly tower, all while trying very hard not to upset your master, the evil sorcerer Zangdar.
The experience is built around four pillars. You build the dungeon of your dreams, decorating rooms with objects and furniture to attract patrons and employees, raising your reputation, and unlocking new dungeon levels to expand and diversify as you grow. You recruit less-useless personnel to work, defend, raid, and serve Zangdar, managing the various unusual species of the Naheulbeuk world, each with their own perks and skills. You manage your minions' needs and expectations to bring out their best or worst, upgrading them, handling strikes and insubordination however you see fit, and keeping Zangdar's frustration in check to protect your fragile position. And as the dungeon grows, you defend it too.
Blending management with humor, this indie casual, simulation, and strategy title on PC leans into the comedic tone of the Naheulbeuk universe. It's a lighthearted take on running a dungeon from the boss's side of the door, where keeping both your staff and your master happy is a challenge all its own.
