About Mycopunk

Mycopunk poster

Mycopunk follows a ragtag squad of robot rejects hired by the SAXON corporation for one last shot at profitable glory and a chance to avoid the scrap heap. Known as the New Atlas Hazard Crew, these ramshackle exterminators are sent to uncover the mysteries behind a planet-wide fungal catastrophe across a series of dangerous planet-side missions.

Combat leans into an outrageous arsenal of futuristic weaponry, some of it repurposed power tools, which you can supercharge through a one-of-a-kind grid-based upgrade system to build the ridiculous sci-fi super-weapon of your dreams. Enemies corrupt and weaponize the planet's technology against you, and you can pick these crawlies apart piece by piece, though you'll want to stay wary, since whatever they drop might get scooped up by another foe. Alone these rickety robots aren't much, but together they become greater than the sum of their parts, letting you combine upgraded abilities and customized weapons into synergistic builds for strategic co-op mayhem, or just shoot each other for fun.

Between missions you can blow off steam aboard an orbital dropship packed with toys and games, hanging out with friends and learning more about the galaxy. As an action FPS with strong indie roots on PC, Mycopunk pairs chaotic gunplay with deep customization and cooperative teamwork.
