My Time At Sandrock unfolds in the same wholesome post-apocalyptic setting as My Time at Portia, taking place 330 years after the Day of Calamity wiped out most modern technology. After accepting a job offer to become Sandrock's newest Builder, you arrive in a wild, rugged city-state where it's up to you and your tools to restore the community to its former glory, all while saving the town from economic ruin.
The heart of the game is your workshop, which you transform from a run-down space into a well-oiled production facility. An intricate set of machines lets you process materials and produce the parts of huge structures before assembling them piece by piece, and a worktable lets you create hundreds of unique items to decorate your homestead, gift to residents, or fulfill community requests. Beyond the workshop, you can explore the vast deserts surrounding Sandrock, dive into ruins for Old World relics, and hunt for materials in hard-to-reach places.
Story and relationships run deep here, with a detailed narrative, hundreds of sidequests, and over 30 new characters to meet, whose backstories you can uncover as you form meaningful connections. As an adventure, casual, RPG, and simulation experience on PC, My Time At Sandrock blends building, exploration, and community into a warm frontier life worth settling into.
