About Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord poster

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is the long-awaited sequel to the acclaimed medieval combat simulator and RPG Warband. An empire fractures under civil war while new kingdoms rise beyond its borders, and it's up to you to gird on your sword, summon your followers, and ride out to win glory across the battlefields of Calradia, building a new world from the ashes of the old.

At its core is a vast medieval sandbox where no two playthroughs are alike. You create and develop a character to match your play style, then explore, raid, and conquer as you see fit. There's far more to do than fight: you can raise armies, engage in politics, trade, craft weapons, recruit companions, and manage your fiefdom, all while working to establish your clan among Calradia's nobility.

Combat uses Mount & Blade's deep yet intuitive skill-based directional system, and you command and fight alongside your troops in first or third person during huge real-time battles. On PC, the multiplayer suite pits your prowess against players worldwide through ranked matchmaking and casual modes, and you can even host your own server using the game's Dedicated Server files, giving this action-strategy RPG serious staying power.
