About MORDHAU

MORDHAU poster

MORDHAU is a medieval multiplayer slasher playable in both first and third person, dropping you into chaotic battlefields as a mercenary in a fictional yet grounded world. Its free-form melee combat gives you complete control over your character and attacks, letting you develop a personal fighting style that keeps the brutal, satisfying clashes worth returning to.

Battles scale dramatically, from small skirmishes to all-out war between as many as 64 players in modes like Frontline and Invasion. If you'd rather fight alongside allies, the cooperative Horde mode pits you against waves of enemies, and you can hone your skills offline against AI. Character customization runs deep: you sculpt your face, assemble weapons from individual parts, and choose each piece of armor to build the exact warrior you want, then take a huge arsenal into the fray.

The combat isn't limited to swordplay on foot. You can rain arrows from above, join cavalry charges, fight on ladders, and operate siege engines like the catapult and ballista, or hang back and construct fortifications instead. MORDHAU aims for believable, visceral fights that strike a balance between gameplay and realism, complete with impactful blows and optional blood and gore, making it a distinctly weighty action pick on PC.
