About Moonlighter

Moonlighter poster

A long-ago archaeological dig uncovered a set of ancient Gates, passages that lead into other realms and dimensions brimming with treasure for anyone bold or reckless enough to venture through. The small commercial village of Rynoka sprang up beside the excavation, giving adventurers a place to rest and sell whatever riches they hauled back.

Moonlighter is an action RPG with rogue-lite elements that follows Will, a shopkeeper who dreams of becoming a hero. That double life defines the game: by day you run your store in Rynoka, pricing items carefully, managing your gold, hiring assistants, and upgrading the shop, all while keeping an eye out for shady types looking to swipe your best wares. The dungeons demand a very different skill set, with deep combat that rewards weapon mastery, sharp timing, careful positioning, and a real understanding of your enemies and the environment.

Between runs there's a village to revive. You get to know Rynoka's residents, help launch new businesses, and watch the community grow more prosperous, while a crafting and enchanting system lets you strengthen your gear for tougher expeditions. On PC, that loop of dungeon-diving, shopkeeping, and town-building gives Moonlighter a rhythm that's all its own.
