
Monsters are Coming! Rock & Road puts a city on wheels and dares you to keep it rolling through an endless army of darkness. It's a tower-survivor and action rogue-lite where standing still isn't an option, and everything you build, gather, and fight for exists to keep the settlement moving south toward the safety of the Arch.
The experience revolves around three pillars. You fortify by choosing, placing, and upgrading districts across a run, arranging defensive structures like archery outposts, necromancer towers, and even fire-breathing dragons to repel monsters at the gates. You forage as a persistent peon weighing risk against reward, collecting wood, stone, and gold while deciding whether to stray off the beaten path for richer rewards or push straight for shelter. And you fight, taking down bosses, clearing environmental obstacles, and wielding special weaponry to keep adapting your approach.
Progression rewards deliberate planning. Reach shelter to buy new districts from the city shop, then decide exactly where and when to place them based on what each run demands. As the last hope for humanity on PC, you're balancing construction, scavenging, and combat all at once, because if you slow down or spread yourself too thin, the darkness catches up and the city turns to ash.
