Mon Bazou is a Canadian-flavored car-building, maple-syrup-producing, street-racing survival game set in the quiet Quebecois town of Saint-Clin du Fin-Fond. Freshly into 2005 and the heyday of tuners and street racers, you start with a rusty, run-down beater and set about transforming it into a genuine racer while carving out your own story in the sleepy countryside.
Making a living is half the fun. You sell firewood, maple syrup, and other goods to the townsfolk, then wager your hard-earned cash in a street race the very same night, constantly weighing whether to pour your winnings back into your car to dominate the streets or reinvest in your maple business for bigger long-term returns. Along the way you decide who to help among a cast of named NPCs, each bringing uniquely Canadian dialogue, quests, and rewards.
The game leans hard into hands-on customization and variety. Your primary vehicle supports many cosmetic and performance upgrades that you install yourself by turning bolts and swinging wrenches, and a flexible RGB and hexadecimal painting system lets you finish it your way. Beyond the main car sit other vehicles, a truck, an ATV, and even a boat, plus a scrapyard to raid for parts and a sprawling motorsport complex with an oval, drag strip, and track course, making it a rich indie simulation on PC.
