About Mirror's Edge™ Catalyst

Mirror's Edge Catalyst is an action-adventure that follows Faith, a daring free runner fighting for freedom in the City of Glass. Beneath its elegant, high-tech surface, the city hides a terrible secret, and Faith stands at the center of a huge, freely roamable world that spans everything from beautifully lit rooftops to the dark, gritty tunnels below. Seen through a first-person perspective, the game invites you to combine fluid movement and combat with the environment to master your surroundings and expose the conspiracy at the city's core.

Movement is the star of the experience. Traversal has you zipping down wire lines, balancing on pipes, hanging and climbing under obstacles, and running along walls both vertically and horizontally to swing around corners or leap across gaps. A Focus system rewards momentum, since free running builds Focus that makes Faith untouchable, while low speed and taking hits drain it, so staying fast is a matter of survival.

Momentum feeds into daring rooftop jumps and stylish slides through tight spaces, and moves like the Shift dash grant bursts of acceleration in any direction, with Quickturn allowing rapid 180 or 90 degree turns for quick changes of plan. Combat rounds out this open-world PC adventure, letting Faith deliver devastating strikes while keeping her signature agility.
