About MIMESIS

MIMESIS poster

MIMESIS is a cooperative horror game that requires a microphone to play, with a headset or earphones recommended over speakers for a more immersive experience. The premise centers on an entity that can imitate you and your allies perfectly, copying behavior, voice, and anything else a human can do, which means you should always doubt the person standing in front of you.

The core loop asks you to gather exactly the right group, since three players are described as too few and five as too many, then work together to survive and repair an aging tram that could break down at any moment. You collect scraps to fix it when possible, all while contending with threats beyond Mimesis itself, including cursed rain that may fall and monsters that may appear. Staying alive together for as long as you can is the goal, and trust is never guaranteed to hold until the end.

Each run brings unpredictable horror through new threats and shifting environments, and the enemy's ability to copy your voice, behavior, and even your memories keeps you questioning what is real. Supporting up to four-player co-op survival, this indie action-adventure leans on paranoia and teamwork, and its developers invite players to follow along on Steam and join the official Discord to find allies for PC play.
