About Millennia

Millennia is a historical turn-based 4X strategy game that stretches across 10,000 years of history, carrying your civilization from the dawn of humanity all the way to possible futures. You create your own nation and steer it through times of crisis and ages of discovery, writing an epic story through your decisions as you build a people meant to prosper across the ages. Each playthrough can branch into different timelines, so no two histories unfold the same way.

Progress moves through ten distinct ages, from the first cities to the era of space travel. Meeting certain objectives can shift you into a Variant Age, an alternate history layered with new rules, technologies, and units, while a wrong turn may lead to a Crisis Age, where chaos threatens to plunge the world into war, sickness, or ignorance. A shrewd ruler can turn even a crisis into opportunity, so the path you choose leaves a lasting mark on your people.

Customization comes through Nations Spirits adopted over the course of a game, letting you define what your civilization is known for. You might become a nation of warriors or explorers, be led by a Great Khan or a builder of monuments, or earn renown for shaping pop culture or dominating global finance. These choices give this PC strategy game real replay depth.
