Metro: Last Light Redux returns to the tunnels beneath post-apocalyptic Moscow in the year 2034, where the last of humanity clings to survival against threats from both outside and within. Mutants prowl the catacombs and hunt beneath poisoned skies, but the deadliest danger may be the survivors themselves, as the Metro's station-cities turn on one another in a struggle over D6, a doomsday device pulled from the military vaults. As Artyom, weighed down by guilt yet clinging to hope, you carry the key to mankind's survival as civil war threatens to erase humanity for good.
This Redux release is the definitive form of the critically praised Metro: Last Light, reconstructed in an advanced version of the 4A Engine. It gives newcomers a chance to experience one of the best story-driven shooters around, an atmospheric PC adventure that weaves together survival horror, exploration, and tactical stealth combat.
The package folds in every piece of previously released DLC, adding roughly ten hours of bonus single-player content on top of the already substantial main campaign. Longtime fans will spot new features and refinements too, including reworked melee animations, the ability to check your watch and ammo on the move, and full-body player animations that deepen the sense of immersion throughout the journey.
