About Metro Exodus PC Enhanced Edition

Metro Exodus PC Enhanced Edition poster

Metro Exodus PC Enhanced Edition is a visually rebuilt version of the acclaimed 4A Games shooter that requires a ray-tracing capable GPU as part of its minimum spec. Owners of the original Metro Exodus are entitled to this upgrade, and the game's downloadable content is enhanced as well, so purchasing the Expansion Pass or picking up The Two Colonels and Sam's Story individually grants access to their improved versions through this edition.

The story unfolds in 2036, a quarter-century after nuclear war ravaged the planet. A few thousand survivors still endure beneath the ruins of Moscow in the tunnels of the Metro, having weathered poisoned elements, mutated beasts, paranormal horrors, and the fires of civil war. As Artyom, you leave the Metro behind and lead a band of Spartan Rangers on a sweeping journey across post-apocalyptic Russia, heading east in search of a new life.

This is an epic, story-driven first-person shooter that fuses deadly combat and stealth with exploration and survival horror across one of gaming's most immersive worlds. You range across the Russian wilderness in vast, non-linear levels and follow a plot that spans a full year, moving through spring, summer, and autumn. The Enhanced Edition makes it a showcase for what ray-traced lighting can bring to atmospheric PC shooters.
