About MEMORIAPOLIS

MEMORIAPOLIS poster

MEMORIAPOLIS is a city-builder that has you shape a town across the sweep of history. You manage resources, make political decisions and contend with the different factions moving into your city, all with the ultimate goal of holding on to power until the end of the Age of Enlightenment and leaving your mark by raising a grand City's Fair during the Industrial Revolution. Lose control of your citizens' needs, or let factions grow too influential, and it is game over.

Time is always moving, and your adventure spans five historical eras: Antiquity, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, the Age of Enlightenment and the Industrial Revolution. Each age lasts a set number of in-game cycles before transitioning automatically, so your strategy must evolve alongside the city; some buildings can be upgraded to suit a new era while others may need to be torn down, forcing you to weigh what to preserve and what to sacrifice.

Growth here is organic rather than grid-based. There is no rigid control, so your city expands naturally as citizens decide where they settle, making each playthrough feel dynamic and unique. You adapt to their choices while gently steering them, using cultural buildings to draw more people. As an indie simulation and strategy title, it offers a distinctive, history-spanning take on the genre on PC.
