About Mechabellum

Mechabellum is a tactical wargame where planning ahead and adapting your strategy are the keys to victory. You command a mechanized army against human or AI opponents, customizing your units and abilities, placing them carefully on the battlefield, and then watching them clash as the fight plays out.

Building your force means learning the strengths and weaknesses of a large roster of unique units, from the nimble Wasp light aircraft to the massive, flame-wielding Vulcan, and tailoring them and their abilities both before and during battles to maximize their destructive potential. Winning hinges on countering your opponent, so you anticipate their moves and choose the ideal combination of units, loadouts and positioning as the situation unfolds.

Special abilities let you swing a losing engagement, whether by dropping a precisely placed airstrike or unleashing a horde of crawler bots into the heart of the enemy line. The spectacle is a big part of the appeal, with shrapnel, incendiary bombs and enormous lasers streaking across the field as huge armies of war machines collide and the scale of destruction escalates each round. You can hone your tactics against advanced AI before challenging other players in PvP. On PC, this strategy and simulation title rewards foresight, experimentation and sharp counterplay.
