About Mafia II (Classic)

Mafia II (Classic) is an action game that follows Vito Scaletta as he builds a reputation on the streets of Empire Bay as a man who gets the job done. Alongside his friend Joe, Vito sets out to prove himself to the Mafia, climbing the family ladder through crimes that grow steadily in reward, status and consequence, only to learn that a wise guy's life is far less untouchable than it appears.

The gameplay leans on intense gunplay, tense car chases and up-close hand-to-hand combat, all of which you will need to master on the road to becoming a made man. Drawing on iconic mafia drama, the game surrounds you with compelling characters and cinematic presentation that capture both the pull and the inescapability of organized crime.

Empire Bay itself is a period piece, spanning 10 square miles of outdoor environments and detailed interiors rendered with 2K Czech's proprietary Illusion Engine. World War II rages in Europe, and the architecture, cars, music and clothing all echo the era; as time moves on, hot rods, 50s fashion and some of the decade's finest music mark the arrival of a new age. A soundtrack of influential period artists completes the immersion on PC.
