Lost Light is a realistic warfare survival shooter set in a world ravaged by an apocalypse, where once-familiar factories, harbors, and forests have been left desecrated. Success on the battlefield demands attention to small details, since a single oversight can carry fatal consequences. You must know your weapons and equipment intimately, search every corner of the map, manage hunger and pain, and form tactical plans as you complete survivors' commissions, scavenge for supplies, and sharpen your skills to endure the exclusion zone.

Firearm customization sits at the heart of the experience, with weapons meticulously recreated from structure to texture for a highly authentic feel. Each firearm supports up to 12 modifiable parts and hundreds of components, letting you optimize your loadout from a wealth of possibilities, while a Quick Equip system offers recommended setups. Tactics matter more than raw aggression, because violence isn't always the answer, and reaching an evacuation point is enough to make it out alive. You might go in heavily armed to wreak havoc and gather loot, or take a minimalist approach and scavenge quietly, but remember that dying in combat means losing everything, since loot only becomes yours once you extract safely.
