About Loop Hero

Loop Hero poster

Loop Hero unfolds in a world the Lich has trapped in a timeless loop, casting its inhabitants into endless chaos. Playing as a mix of indie RPG, simulation, and strategy, it hands you an expanding deck of mystical cards that you use to place enemies, buildings, and terrain along each expedition's looping path. Rather than directly controlling the hero, you shape the world around them, recovering and equipping powerful loot for different classes and expanding the survivors' camp to reinforce every trip through the loop.

Each expedition begins by selecting from unlockable character classes and building a deck before setting out along a randomly generated route, so no two runs ever play out the same way. Strategy comes from carefully placing building, terrain, and enemy cards to carve your own dangerous path while balancing risk against reward, since tougher surroundings yield better loot and resources. As you strike down menacing creatures you gather stronger gear to equip on the fly and unlock new perks, then convert hard-won resources into camp upgrades that grant reinforcements with each completed loop. Across a grand saga of unholy guardian bosses, your ultimate goal is to shatter the Lich's endless cycle of despair, making this a deeply replayable strategic experience on PC.
