Legend of Keepers turns the usual dungeon crawler on its head by casting you as management, not the intruder. This indie strategy RPG mixes dungeon administration with roguelite runs, handing you a career as a Dungeon Manager within the Dungeons Company. Your job is to climb the corporate ladder, safeguard the firm's treasures, and make sure the self-proclaimed heroes who come poking around never leave with the loot.
Each run plays out in two connected phases. First comes planning, where you study a party's stats and resistances before positioning monsters and traps to counter them. Once your defenses are set, the crawl begins and you watch the adventurers stumble through the layout you designed, springing traps and running headlong into turn-based fights against the creatures you hired. Between expeditions you manage employees, restock traps, and weather quirky complications like staff strikes. Runs are randomized so no two feel alike, though you carry certain Master bonuses forward to strengthen future attempts. Drawing inspiration from tabletop and roguelite favorites, it delivers a darkly comic take on tower-defense-style tactics for PC strategy fans who enjoy playing the villain.
