About Kingdoms Reborn

Kingdoms Reborn poster

Kingdoms Reborn is a city builder with simulated citizens, set on a procedurally generated world map, in which you grow your realm through the ages from a tiny medieval hamlet into a prosperous global empire. Its rallying cry to build your city, shape your kingdoms and rebirth your civilization captures the sweep of progression on offer, and you can pursue that journey solo or share the world in real time with friends, whether cooperating or competing.

At its foundation, individual citizens are simulated in a manner reminiscent of Banished, giving the population a sense of life. You can choose from four cultural factions, the Duchies, the Emirates, the Norsemen and the Shogunate, each with its own art and gameplay style, and settle across a large map featuring seven distinct biomes. An extensive tech tree unlocks new buildings, bonuses and upgrades, while era progression lets you advance your houses and structures through four different ages. Multiplayer supports up to eighteen players competing or cooperating between neighbouring cities, and a card system built around building, action, policy and bonus cards ensures no two games play out the same. This indie strategy simulation offers deep replayability on PC.
