Kingdom Two Crowns is a side-scrolling micro strategy game with a minimalist feel, dressed in a beautiful modern pixel art style. You play as a monarch mounted atop a steed, recruiting loyal subjects, building up your realm and defending it against the greedy creatures that come to steal your coins and crown. A campaign mode tasks monarchs with constructing a kingdom that endures over time until a way is found to defeat the Greed once and for all, while exploration reveals new mounts and secrets hidden deep in the environments.
A standout addition is its cooperative play, unique to this entry, which lets you rule alongside a friend locally or online, dropping in and out at will, or stick to the classic solo experience. Beyond the traditional medieval setting, the game includes extra scenarios such as Dead Lands, a gothic-horror crossover with Bloodstained featuring the Shardbinder Miriam and unusual mounts like a giant beetle, an undead steed that summons barriers, and the demon horse Gaming with its powerful charge. A Shogun journey draws on Japanese-inspired architecture as well. Together these blend adventure, simulation and strategy into one package on PC.
