Killing Floor 2 takes players into a continental Europe that has collapsed in the month since the events of the original game. A failed experiment by Horzine Biotech unleashed an outbreak of specimen clones that spread with unstoppable speed, paralyzing the European Union as communications fail, governments fall and military forces are wiped out. The survivors who remain have gone into hiding, but a group of civilians and mercenaries refuses to give up, establishing privately funded bases across the continent and tracking outbreaks so they can descend into infested hot zones and clear them.
This action FPS pushes the series' signature carnage further with a persistent blood system that sends severed limbs, entrails and gore flying as you cut through hordes of zeds, though enemies can just as easily tear an unlucky player apart. You can take on the waves in six-player online co-op or brave the fight in solo mode, choosing from a roster of varied playable characters as you enter the fray. With its relentless enemy swarms and visceral presentation, Killing Floor 2 delivers a demanding survival experience for fans of cooperative horror shooters on PC.
