About Inkbound

Inkbound poster

Inkbound is a turn-based roguelike RPG built around a world where the written word carries dangerous, living magic. The setting is the Atheneum, a magical library said to hold every story ever written, and each book opens a portal into another realm with its own threats. When an unseen danger begins to unravel these tales, the inhabitants of the Atheneum call on you to protect them.

The combat rethinks how turn-based systems usually work. Players move around freely, act at the same time when playing together, and fire off abilities quickly, so you can breeze through easy decisions and slow things down when the pressure rises and deeper strategy is needed. A wide range of character classes, draftable abilities, ability upgrades, and hundreds of items lets you shape distinctive builds and rework your approach mid-run.

On PC, up to four players can party together, using the Atheneum as a social hub to meet friends and strangers alike. Cooperative groups take on challenges as a team, comparing notes on which builds synergize best. With MMO-style social play folded into a strategy-heavy roguelike structure, Inkbound rewards both quick reflexes and careful planning as you work to save the stories.
