About Infliction Extended Cut

Infliction Extended Cut poster

Infliction Extended Cut invites you to wander through an interactive nightmare set inside the confines of a once-happy household. As you piece together the mystery behind a harrowing chain of events, you must also struggle to survive encounters with an entity that relentlessly stands between you and any hope of absolution, turning a familiar domestic space into a place of dread.

Exploration is central to the experience. You examine a home crystallised by tragedy, uncovering heartbreaking secrets hidden within messages, artwork, household objects, and other vestiges of everyday life. Clues and items unlock new paths and reveal fresh discoveries, but all the while a malevolent presence hunts you as surely as you hunt for the truth. You can hide from it and harness light sources such as camera flashes to stun the spirit and briefly slip its pursuit, raising the question of whether you can last long enough to find atonement.

The game grounds its horror in reality, drawing on real-world domestic tragedy and the fears we all recognize: broken hearts, betrayed trust, grief, and loss. A restless AI enemy stalks you throughout a realistic suburban house that grows more fractured and twisted the deeper you go, leaving you to decide whether to hide or find some way to fight back. Reading letters, finding diaries, and examining a broken family's mementos slowly reveals the terrible events that led you here, making this indie adventure a deeply unsettling PC horror experience.
