About INDIKA

INDIKA is a third-person, story-driven adventure that pairs an imaginative narrative with a dark sense of humor. It follows a young nun named Indika as she sets out on a journey of self-discovery, accompanied by the most unlikely of companions: the devil himself, a horn-headed presence who walks alongside her. The result is a game set in a strange world where religious visions collide with harsh reality.

On the surface, Indika appears to be an ordinary nun trying to adjust to the difficult, monotonous routine of monastery life, humble and innocent in appearance. But that impression is deceiving, since this young woman speaks with the Evil One, and their unusual connection soon draws her out beyond the safe walls of the monastery on an errand of her own. The world she encounters can only be described as a wild blend of comedy and tragedy, evoking the novels of Dostoyevsky and Bulhakov.

Throughout the journey she travels across surreal landscapes of Russia, seen as if through a distorted mirror, while tackling unique puzzle elements that help uncover the hidden depths of her soul. Themes of religion and authority run all through her story, confronting her with difficult questions along the way. As an indie adventure on PC where anything goes, INDIKA turns one nun's inner reckoning into an unsettling and unconventional experience.
