I Am Future: Cozy Apocalypse Survival reimagines the survival genre by stripping away the usual doom and gloom. It asks what the end of the world might feel like if it were relaxing rather than stressful, then invites you to build a rooftop base of your dreams, explore a mysterious world, start a farm, and make new friends while enjoying what it bills as the chillest post-apocalypse ever.

Everything begins on an abandoned rooftop, where you build, decorate, and expand the coziest camp imaginable from scratch. You unlock new buildings and furniture, set up electrical grids, and neatly organize your new life as the last survivor on Earth, fresh out of a long cryogenic sleep with no job tasks or worries to weigh you down. Nature does its part in the healing, too, letting you set up a farm to grow fruit, vegetables, and even cheese trees while you tend your crops at your own pace.

The experience adds plenty of personality on top of its calm foundation. You can play as either Robin or Chris and customize your survivor to match your own vision of the last person alive. Scavenging old-world relics like kettles, TVs, and microwaves lets you take them apart with a satisfying dismantling mechanic and gather crafting materials, and you can even hire a team of cute robot minions to automate chores. Blending adventure, simulation, and strategy, it's a family-friendly survival game on PC.
