About Hypnospace Outlaw

Hypnospace Outlaw casts you as a freshly enlisted Enforcer in the Hypnospace Patrol Department, tasked with policing a strange virtual world while the corporatocracy sleeps. Outlaws are committing all sorts of transgressions across beloved Hypnospace, and since these virtual streets won't police themselves, it's up to you to hunt them down and keep order online.

At its heart, the game is a '90s internet simulator, and much of your time is spent scouring an eccentric assortment of weird and wonderful websites in search of wrongdoers. Along the way you'll keep an eye on your inbox, dodge viruses and adware, and download a whole range of apps that may or may not turn out to be useful. Your official duties have you watching for copyright infringement, internet bullying, and other offenses, with reports and rewards delivered straight to your inbox by the Patrol Department.

Between assignments, there's room to make the experience your own. You can customize your HypnOS desktop however you like, decking it out with downloads, wallpapers, screen savers, and helper bots to keep you company. Blending puzzle, simulation, and indie sensibilities, this PC title turns nostalgic web-surfing into detective work, all while you slip on your Hypnospace Headband and keep the department's directives in mind.
