About HumanitZ

HumanitZ drops you into a world undone by a zombie outbreak, where the infected, known as zeeks, have clawed their way to the top of the food chain and left ordinary humans clinging to survival in scattered, isolated pockets. Your goal is to fight back and reclaim humanity's place at the summit, and this isometric, open-world sandbox survival game gives you plenty of freedom in how you go about it.

The world stretches from untamed wilderness to sprawling urban centers, each area balancing valuable resources against real danger. Exploration is rarely safe and never fully predictable, with infected wildlife, zeek hordes, and hostile survivors all roaming the landscape. Drivable vehicles become vital for crossing hazardous ground, hauling supplies, carrying companions, and pushing deeper into hostile territory. You might trade and find aid at survivor camps, or you might walk into a violent confrontation while raiding an enemy bandit base.

Every decision carries risk. Do you gamble on looting the cities knowing hordes could be lurking nearby, or retreat to the countryside to hunt, fish, and farm your way through? Beyond the infected and rival survivors, hunger, exposure, and a dynamic weather system constantly chip away at your odds.
