About Highrise City

Highrise City poster

Highrise City puts a fresh spin on city simulations and tycoon games by expanding the economy and resource-management side of the genre. Rather than a traditional city builder, it centers on production chains whose results feed an ever-growing city, blending classic city building with the heart of an economy simulation. It was developed by a small team over eight years as a passion project, spending seven of those years as a one-person effort.

The result is a modern take on the genre enriched with a complex, resource-based economy system, and it deliberately combines two traditions, city builders and economy and resource-management simulations, in new and interesting ways. You get challenging gameplay along with the tools you need to create a living, breathing city, nurturing it until it flourishes into a sprawling metropolis.

Building is only half the job, because you also actively manage the city by handling its economic supply. That means organizing and constructing supply chains efficiently and keeping the economy well balanced to guarantee steady growth, which in turn lets you push toward true megacity scale. For fans of simulation and strategy on PC, Highrise City turns the mastery of interlocking production and management into the core of the experience.
