Hide and Shriek is a one-versus-one multiplayer romp that unfolds over ten-minute matches. It is Halloween, and the students of magic at Little Springs High and Innsmouth Academy are honoring an old tradition: slipping into school after midnight, turning themselves invisible, and scaring one another half to death. Your goal is delightfully simple, to frighten your opponent before the clock runs out, and if no clear winner emerges when time stops, the player with the most points takes the game.
Points come from scaring your rival, luring them into traps, or completing an ancient ritual. The twist that defines every match is that both players are invisible, so you cannot simply chase your target down. Instead you rely on cunning traps and potent spells to reveal where your opponent is hiding.
Once you have spotted them, the move is to sneak up close and deliver a proper scare, but the danger runs both ways, because they are hunting for you at the same time. Let your guard slip and you may be the one jumping out of your seat. This action-focused PC game turns invisible cat-and-mouse into a tense, playful duel.
