About Hardspace: Shipbreaker

Hardspace: Shipbreaker poster

Hardspace: Shipbreaker welcomes you to LYNX, billed as the solar system's leader in spaceship salvaging, where your job is to help turn humanity's past into its future by breaking down ships in zero gravity. Each vessel functions as a puzzle, and how you solve it is entirely up to you: carve your way inside, salvage everything of value, and maximise your profit while chipping away at a comically enormous debt.

Cutting-edge LYNX tools drive the work, letting you slice through metal with a laser cutter and move salvage around with a grapple tool, while upgrades such as demo charges, sensors, and safety gear expand what you can tackle. Caution is essential, since hazards including explosive decompression, fuel, electricity, and radiation can end a shift fast, and while EverWork technology protects your life, the company makes clear its profits are not so lucky.

The experience captures the daily grind of a blue-collar spaceship salvager, inviting you to cut and destroy at will within a next-gen physics sim. You can work through a compelling campaign, unwind in freeplay, or test yourself in timed challenges, exploring a variety of ship types with endless variations and upgrading your tools to take on bigger, tougher jobs. As a simulation title on PC, Hardspace: Shipbreaker turns methodical salvage into satisfying work.
