About Hammerting

Hammerting is a vertical dwarven mining colony sim laced with RPG elements, putting you in charge of a clan of colourful Dwarves as you establish an epic underground operation. You dig ever deeper in pursuit of glory, riches, and the dangers that come with them, managing your colony while forging legendary swords and other master craftwork along the way.

The setting frames your work with purpose: a war rages on the surface, and the Dwarves pledge to delve below and, as master craftspeople, produce and supply everything their allies need. That premise gives your mining and crafting a stake beyond mere profit, tying the colony's fortunes to a larger conflict unfolding above ground.

You begin humbly, with only a handful of Dwarves who must set up operations quickly to survive and grow. As you progress, that small clan expands and earns a reputation throughout the Upper Realms for its skill and premium craftsmanship, rewarding careful management and steady development. Blending adventure, indie, RPG, simulation, and strategy sensibilities, Hammerting offers a distinctive vertical take on the colony builder on PC, where every level you excavate opens new opportunities and fresh perils.
